This week, all sixth grade students will be participating in my Kenan Fellows project "Symbiosis in the Soil" where we are looking for beneficial microbes found within the roots of plants around our school. The data collected will be contributed to the research being conducted by microbiologist, Dr. Julia Stevens, at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.
We will be using the following POWERPOINT throughout the week.
Be sure to wear closed toe shoes on Tuesday and Friday of this week. Also, if you have long hair, have something to pull it back with.
